TRACEABILITY
Only Steel is 100% Traceable
The reality is that only steel can give you verifiable data regarding product quality. Traceability starts at the regionally accessible steel mills that provide a Certified Mill Test Report (CMTR) on the material that they produce. The CMTR contains all of the information on raw materials in the batch from which the corrugated steel pipe (CSP) coils were made, yield strength information and other test data. In addition, the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) can prove not only material composition, but also pipe quality in post-production on metallurgy testing.

CSP is the only drainage solution that gives you the ability to identify a specific piece of steel in a structure and determine its material property throughout the life of the structure from its CMTR and ASTM testing.

Specifying CSP is a quality move because it:
  • Maintains grade and performance even when recycled
  • Quality assurance reduces risk associated with system failures
  • Provides quality assurance through its service life traceability back to raw materials
  • Provides quality assurance in post-production testing

Quality through and through
CSP is a homogenous material. A cross-section of other drainage products could reveal stress cracks, shrinkage cracks and/or air voids that create a greater chance for system failures. CSP eliminates those failures. The quality that goes into the raw materials of steel, even when steel is recycled and used to produce new CSP, is unmatched by other products.
Confidence is knowing the steel you count on to give you strength comes from  trusted, verified sources.
